The Velma Denning Room offers a variety of resources:

  • Popular quantitative (statistical) software, SPSS, SAS, and Stata, and qualitative software, NVivo, are available on iMac computers. Users can also evaluate a variety of specialty software and ArcGIS for spatial analysis from selected PC computers.
  • Numeric Data on CD-ROM  are accessible from selected PC computers. Data are produced by U.S. federal agencies, international organizations, foreign governments and private distributors.  Contact us (data services) with questions about our CD-ROM collection or to request installation of a CD-ROM program. • Users can browse a non-circulating reference library of software manuals, textbooks on statistics, dataset codebooks, and selected journals and magazines.
