ICPSR Summer Program 2020: Qualitative & mixed methods workshops starting soon!

Add a new layer to your research design!

You may know us as the ICPSR Summer Program, or just the Summer Program, or some combination of math/stats/nerd camp, but here's some trivia for your Tuesday: our full name is the ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research. Yet even that doesn't include everything we do! We also teach methods involving a more qualitative approach, and today we are featuring a handful of short workshops that fit that mold.

Webinar: Data-Driven Storytelling

The power of data lies in the stories it tells. How data is evaluated and presented can change your perspective, evoke emotion, and drive a point home.

April 28, 2020  |  11am-12pm PT  |  Online via ON24

In this webinar, Cheryl Phillips will walk you through the process of taking raw data and transforming it into effective narratives and visuals. She’ll cover best practices in searching for data, cleaning and processing it, and ultimately making sense of it.
