Build your own NCESE Calendar Variable

Collaborative sessions will take place on Wednesdays from January 11-February 1, 2017, with participants completing additional work on their own. Instructions and sample code will be provided in both SAS and Stata.

A Virtual data training series is sponsored by Child Care & Early Education Research Connections to build your own child- or household-level calendar-based variable using the National Survey of Early Care and Education (NSECE) Household Survey! Training will be provided by NSECE project staff using a web-based learning platform and video conferencing.

This series is free, but space is limited. Researchers interested in using the NSECE to answer policy relevant questions in early care and education are encouraged to apply.

Training Sessions: Jan. 11, 18, 25, Feb. 1; 1-2:30 ET

Application Deadline: Wednesday, December 21, 2016

Application Materials: 1) Vita; 2) Brief description of interest, including proficiency with SAS, Stata, or SPSS; and confirmation of your ability to attend all session times.
